Stow-Cum-Quy Parish Council has 7 councillors who were all elected in May 2022. Meetings are held monthly on the third Tuesday of the month, with exception of August and December, where an extra-ordinary meeting will be called if required. Meetings will take place in the Hut at the Village Hall, unless otherwise stated. Members of the public are welcome to attend any meeting, but will not be permitted to speak, except during the open forum, unless invited to do so by the Chairman. In April, the Annual Parish Meeting is held, which gives all residents the opportunity to come and find out the different activities held by the community groups that have taken place during the year. It is also an opportunity to villagers to have a say on matters that they feel the Parish Council should explore in the upcoming year. In May, the Annual Meeting of the Parish Council is held when the administration of the council is reviewed including election of Chairman, Vice Chairman and allocation of representatives to other community groups.
Agendas are available on the website for upcoming meetings, and minutes will be displayed once approved. Anyone wishing to see draft copies of the minutes can request these from the Clerk 10 days after the meeting. Any items for inclusion on the next agenda are to be given to the Clerk no later than 7 days before the next meeting.
